I did my homework and finally decided on the Diamondback Response to help me jump back in. I bought the bike for $400 and it was an excellent price for the quality received. This bike is heavy duty, rugged, and durable. If Rambo rode a bike, it would be this one.Assembly was much easier than I expected....and Amazon shipped very quickly! Not only is the bike aesthetically pleasing, but most of the parts are adjustable to configure the bike to your like and style of riding. All the parts are high quality....I honestly couldn't find one weak link in the whole design. I tried to put it through hell on my first outing and it didn't even flinch. Diamondback's reputation is secure....they did not let me down! Ultimately, this bike safe and reliable. I would recommend it to any level rider. Certain Parts on the breaking system feel slightly cheesy and take a little bit to break in, but once you get it broken in, it works fine. If your looking at getting this, I'd recommend it as something for someone looking to go out and have fun riding trails around. If you're looking for a light bike that you can rely on, I'd safely say that I could take this out and know it'll get me home. not too shabby!, By This review is from: Diamondback 2012 Response Mountain Bike (Sports) assembly really was not that bad. just have to take your time. hardest part was checking adjustment of the gears and it was just time consuming. shifting was surprisingly smooth.components really do seem of a higher quality.only bad thing-being a hard tail, I could feel every bump in my A$$ the next day, but the experts say the thicker saddles cause chafing. so on with the callus. |
